About us
Why I created KGWisdom?
In October 2022, I was sitting beside my son Lucas in hospital after his leukemia had returned when I felt God place a simple call on my heart: to build a website for Him. Lucas had been undergoing treatment since he was diagnosed at the age of three, and during that season I began looking for Bible stories I could read to him. I was also looking for more than simplified Bible stories. I wanted stories told in a clear, child-friendly way, without losing their deeper meaning, so that children could understand not only what happened, but why Jesus told those stories and what they reveal about God, about life, and about His Kingdom. That desire led first to historiasbiblicas.net and later to KGWisdom and these books.
As I studied the words of Jesus, I noticed how often He spoke about the Kingdom of God through simple, everyday images: a mustard seed, a hidden treasure, a pearl, a wedding feast. Behind these simple stories were extraordinary truths, and I wanted children to discover them, not just the story, but the meaning behind it, the wisdom within it and how that wisdom could guide the way they live. I wanted children to encounter the words of Jesus in a way they could understand, remember, talk about with their families, and put it into practice in their own lives.
During those same years, we continued searching for wisdom for Lucas’s care, and by God’s grace he remains in remission today. That journey changed the way I think about wisdom. It reminded me how deeply we search for wisdom when something truly matters, and few things matter more than what we plant in the hearts of our children. That is why KGWisdom exists: to help children and families discover the stories, wisdom, and truths of the Kingdom of God together. Through parables, prayers, stories, and activities, my hope is to help children do more than know what happened in the Bible. I want them to understand what it means, remember it, ask questions about it and put its wisdom into practice, because these are more than stories to know; they are wisdom to carry into life.
